Everyone has been really busy in our after school club looking at Scratch Programming. In groups of 2/3, children made versions of the classic game 'Pong'. I've been amazed at how everyone has used teamwork and computer skills to help make their games. You can play them below! NETNS Garden – a very busy week!

We're making great progress on the NETNS School Garden. Thank you for all of the kind donations and we are now very well stocked for seeds, bulbs and planting trays. If you have any spare tools, we would love to have a hoe or a rake and few more hand trowels and forks. We have planted the donated blackcurrant, redcurrant, raspberry and blackberry plants along the fence. Hopefully we should get our first crop this year! This week we have spent time discussing our families, friends and feelings. We discussed where our families are from and what kind of things we like to do together. We each drew a picture representing each member in our family. This led us to the topic of ‘around the world’. Train set, winter wonderland and much more!!!!!!

This week was another great week in our After School Club. First of all we would like to thank the teachers in the school for the loan of their fantastic train set; fully equipped with trains, bridges, lights, emergency services and lots more. We were very excited about getting the new toy and had great fun putting the parts together and assembling the track in all different ways. Dear Parents, Just a little note to let you know that we had a fantastic Week 1 of After School. The children thoroughly enjoyed their first week and made lots of new friends.
