Throughout the last few weeks, Junior Infants have been learning lots of new things about the Jewish Belief System. A symbol of Judaism is the "Star of David" which is named after King David. Jewish people also have a special building which they like to visit called a S. A special person who works in a Synagogue is called a rabbi. Update From Fifth Class

  Hello, we are 5th class. For the past few months we have been working very hard. This month in Croí na Scoile, we have been looking at Judaism and all of their celebrations. We learned that every week Jews have a festival called the Sabbath (day of rest). Be positive!

Well done to everyone who has been making our school a really positive place. There have been compliments flying all round the place, putting smiles on everyone's faces! Just go up to them and tell them ... - what a good writer he/she is - that you love his/her outfit - that he/she is a really good friend - that his/her eyes are a lovely colour or whatever compliment you can think of. First ever Senior assembly a ROARING success!

NETNS held our first Senior assembly this week. 3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th classes gathered in the Halla Glas this morning to discuss our Code of Behaviour and our Positive Language policy.
