A couple of weeks ago we went on a day trip to the Curragh Racecourse and we learned lots of interesting facts. Afterwards we entered into a competition with many other schools and Aine in our class was chosen. We were all so happy for her as we knew she had put so much time and effort into her essay. This week in Senior Infants we have been learning about the farm, and food we get from the farm. Update from 5th class
This week our class went on a 5k walk across the Curragh. The reason for this was so we could fundraise for 6th classes School tour to the gaeltacht. Also this week in maths we have been learning number sentences. On Wednesday we played dodge ball in PE and we all had great fun! In Junior Infants we have been learning all about our senses this week! We know that we have five senses: sight, hearing, touch, taste and smell. The boys and girls told everyone the things that they like to smell, like flowers, grass when it is freshly cut and soap, and things that are not so nice to smell such as rubbish, smoke and burnt toast!
